Hamilton Unveils New Khaki Aviation Pilot Watches for 2024: 36mm and 42mm Models Explained

The Hamilton Khaki Aviation Pilot series is a widely recognized collection, and for 2024, Hamilton introduces two new versions of the Type B Flieger-inspired Hamilton Khaki Aviation Pilot Auto. These additions include four 36mm time-only watches and three 42mm Day Date models.

The Hamilton Khaki Aviation Pilot Auto 36mm maintains the series’ aesthetic in a smaller format. These models feature stainless steel cases measuring 36mm in diameter, 11.15mm thick, and with an 18mm lug width. They boast flat sapphire crystals, screw-down display casebacks, and 100 meters water resistance. Two models come with stainless steel bracelets, while two others feature refined colorways with leather straps.

Powering the 36mm models is the Caliber H-10 automatic movement, offering an 80-hour power reserve. The dials, inspired by Type B Flieger watches, feature luminous baton markers and partially skeletonized sword-shaped hands.

The Hamilton Khaki Aviation Pilot Day Date Auto 42mm, available in three configurations, updates the full-size double calendar pilot’s watch. These models share similar construction with the 36mm versions but feature rectangular day-date apertures at 3 o’clock. The trio includes strap-equipped and bracelet versions, all with stainless steel cases and nickel-finished hands.

Running on the Caliber H-30 automatic movement, the 42mm models offer the same power reserve and performance as the 36mm variants, with the addition of the day-date complication.

Both the 36mm and 42mm models are priced at $995 USD for strap versions and $1,045 USD for bracelet versions, with the exception of the rose gold PVD version of the 36mm model, which shares the same price despite featuring a pink leather strap.

The Hamilton Khaki Aviation Pilot collection continues to evolve while maintaining its popularity and enduring design. For more details, visit Hamilton’s website.
