Nivada Grenchen Unveils Limited Edition Depthmaster Orange with Original Vintage Dial and Movement

Nivada Grenchen introduces a highly limited edition of the Depthmaster Orange, offering an extraordinary vintage touch with original-era dial and movement. Limited to just 10 pieces, the Nivada Grenchen Depthmaster Orange Limited Edition NOS (New Old Stock) captures the essence of a classic dive watch with historical authenticity.

Retaining the modern construction of the classic Depthmaster, the case measures 39mm in diameter and 13mm in height, maintaining a compact yet robust design. The stainless steel cushion-shaped case features a brushed and polished finish, a unidirectional rotating steel bezel with a 60-minute scale, and a sapphire crystal protecting the glossy orange dial.

The dial, a rare find of vintage new old stock, boasts original tritium-coated hour markers and the iconic “T SWISS MADE T” signature at 6 o’clock. The hands, featuring cream-colored Super-LumiNova, provide a tasteful contrast.

The surprise within this limited edition lies in its movement. Departing from the modern Sellita movement, Nivada Grenchen sourced vintage new old stock ETA 2472 movements, the same used in the original Depthmaster.

Produced from the mid-1950s to the mid-1970s, this movement operates at a slow 18,000 vibrations per hour (2.5Hz) with approximately 42 hours of power reserve.
